Living Waters is a free educational fishing expedition from the Amazon and Okavango to Alaska, Lake Baikal, and the Great Barrier Reef.

Version 1.4.0: Giants of the river

New: encounter arapaima in the Amazon’s rising and high water using the Arapaima expedition kit. Take on a beluga sturgeon in the Danube autumn migration window using the Beluga research encounter kit, a fictional supervised capture-and-release exercise. Both feature new artwork and distinct fighting rhythms; non-capture beluga telemetry remains available.

Time your cast, hold to reel when the fish tires, and release during its runs. Watch the tension: holding too long can break the line. Retry with the same kit, or choose untimed assistance to play at your own pace.

Choose Guided mode for help or Field mode for more independence. Record wildlife, complete research tasks, and save a catch postcard.
